In Phoenix, the busiest days for florists are Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the weeks before prom and Christmas, when prices rise and delivery windows fill up, so order several days ahead. For a wedding, book a consultation six to twelve months out and bring photos and a budget; for sympathy flowers, the shop can deliver straight to the funeral home if you give the service time. Phoenix is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Phoenix follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I stopped in last minute to get flowers for a bridal cake I was making and came in pretty close to closing time. I was honestly blown away by how accommodating they were. The man who helped me (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name) had a couple piercings and nail polish, and he was AMAZING — so kind, energetic, and genuinely friendly. He walked me back to the flowers, gave me tons of recommendations, and helped me choose the main flowers for the cake. I had so many options to pick from, way more than I expected, and the price ended up being shockingly lower than what I thought it would be. The flowers lasted forever, and the cake turned out beautiful (photo attached). I even had a bouquet leftover from my own house that paired perfectly. Truly a 10/10 experience — I highly recommend this florist and will absolutely be back.

Down's is the BEST wholesale floral supply store in the Phoenix area. They have a wide variety of gorgeous cut flowers and greenery, and they have a large selection of unique and standard floral design products. Also, their prices are very reasonable. Down's has been my floral supply store for years. And they're awesome people to work with, they're very knowledgeable and helpful.

Just stopped in to look at flower selection and prices before ordering them for my wedding and I had the nicest chat with Carrie. She was so helpful and sweet, can't wait to come back to order what I need!

Such a disapointment i traveled from Berwyn IL for a wedding event and made the mistake of ordering my flowers with them only to find out that the price they had given me could not be honored they were charging me prices that were four times more then what they had said when the order was placed. I didnt do anymore shopping and price comparison because the price given was actualy what i wanted to spend for floral budget. the manager there was so rude and arogant he questioned if i was really a florist here in IL REALLY! I told him i only had $250.00 for floral and he said it was $900.00+ take it or leave it... So i left it i did end up taking a few things that i knew i would not find some were else. I was scared about what i would tell my bride but i started making phone calls and searching for other florist quick since this was 2 days b4 the big event on new years. I found Cristy at Costco down the street she was very nice and found she had everything needed in stock and was very greatful that we bougth from her and not from Downs ( i think she is independent inside Costco) She was amazing and saved my Event thanks Cristy! BUT PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL LIE AND GET YOU I
